Empowering 1 million villagers through :

Community Mobilisation

Empower 8,248 self-help groups and 720 governance groups located in 4,124 village hamlets of 720 Gram Panchayats by allowing the community to identify its needs and promote community interests, good leadership & democratic decision-making for better governance and impactful interventions.

Education

Empowering 2,700 schools with 2,00,000 Students and 10,000 teachers creating whole school transformation via approximately 17 programmes.

Water & Sanitation

Building 25,000 personal toilets and ensuring each of our 2,60,000 households have 200 liters of potable water per day, round the year.

Agriculture& Dairy

Swades aims to uplift and enrich the lives of 1,60,000 farmers and targets an annual family income of Rs. 2 lakhs per household through agriculture and livelihood programmes.

To achieve this, we design our agriculture and dairy schemes with a focus on training, customised solutions and innovative farming techniques.

Livelihood

The Swades Foundation targets an annual family income of Rs. 2 lakhs per household through agriculture and livelihood programmes.

To achieve this, our livelihood programme focuses on multiple platforms ranging from skilling, employability training & job placement to establishing small business enterprises.

Health & Nutrition

Creating an ecosystem for rural health with a special focus on diseases impacting more than 1% of the population. A special focus is on eye care, maternal and childcare, as well as nutrition, including anti-anaemia, de-worming, kitchen gardens and more. Ensuring access to reliable primary healthcare services through trained cadre of 2,500 Community Health Workers (Swaraksha Mitras) and building a strong connect between the community and government services.
