Swades Foundation is driving climate resilience in rural India through a powerful blend of natural resource management and clean energy solutions. From enabling large-scale rainwater harvesting and groundwater recharge through contour trenches, farm pond lining, and soil conservation efforts, to supporting second cropping and restoring barren land — every intervention strengthens local ecosystems and livelihoods.

On the clean energy front, the Foundation promotes biogas for cooking and solar power across households, schools, anganwadis, and farms — significantly reducing carbon emissions, improving health, and cutting household costs.
